Furthermore, in Denpasar, Kasdam IX/Udayana Brigadier General Sachono, S.H., M.Sc., M.Tr.(Han)., Accompanied by Deputy Head of Persit KCK PD IX/Udayana and Kodam IX/Udayana officials, finished carrying out the Eid al-Adha prayer directly to the Great Sudirman Mosque in Denpasar to carry out the symbolic handover of the sacrificial animals to the Sacrifice Committee.

On the commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1444 H/2023 M, in his remarks the Pangdam IX/Udayana said that the month of Dzulhijjah is the month that every Muslim throughout the world has been waiting for, because in this month Muslims hand over sacrificial animals to be distributed to the needy. poor.

The command to sacrifice is for those who are able to show that Islam teaches its people to care for the poor and the dhu’afa around them. By making sacrifices prescribed, Muslims are trained to strengthen their sense of humanity, sharpen their sensitivity to social issues and teach mutual love, empathy and increase solidarity, togetherness and helping each other to strengthen ties of friendship.

“What we are carrying out is in accordance with the theme of Eid al-Adha 1444 H/2023 M, namely Make Eid al-Adha 1444 H/2023 M as a Means of Increasing Piety and Concern,” concluded the Military Commander.

Commemorating this Eid al-Fitr, the Sudirman Great Mosque received 8 cows for sacrificial animals, namely 1 from the TNI Commander, 2 from the Military Commander IX/Udayana, 1 from Kasdam IX/Udayana, 2 from the Danrem 163/WSA and the Congregation of the Sudirman Grand Mosque 2 heads, as well as 42 goats from the Congregation of the Great Sudirman Mosque.

Furthermore, the sacrificial animals that took place at Makoyonif Raider 900/SBW were 3 cows (from the Regional Military Command IX/Udayana, Kima Muslims and Kibant Yonif Raider 900/SBW and from the PLTU), and 5 sacrificial goats. (Pendam IX/Udy)
