DENPASAR, STIGMA.CO.ID – Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Harfendi, S.IP., M.Sc., led the Commemoration Ceremony of Pancasila Sanctity Day, which was held at Makorem 163/Wira Satya Field, Denpasar City, on Sunday (1/10/2023).
At this solemn ceremony, all ceremony participants pledged that since the independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia was proclaimed on August 17, 1945, in reality, there had been a lot of undermining both within the country and abroad against the Republic of Indonesia.
This undermining was made possible by the negligence and lack of awareness of the Indonesian people towards activities that attempted to overthrow Pancasila as the state ideology. With a spirit of togetherness based on the noble values of Pancasila ideology, the Indonesian nation can continue to strengthen the establishment of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
“So before God Almighty commemorates Pancasila Sanctity Day, we make up our minds to continue to maintain and practice the values of Pancasila as a source of strength to unite together to fight for and uphold truth and justice for the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” stressed the Pledge reader.
Pancasila Sanctity Day is a day to commemorate the position of Pancasila as the only ideology, way of life, and foundation of the Indonesian state. It is hoped that the commemoration of Pancasila Sanctity Day can be a lesson to build a strong generation in national and social life with Pancasila as the foundation of the Indonesian state.
The Pancasila Sanctity Day Commemoration Ceremony was also attended by Kasdam IX/Udayana, Irdam IX/Udayana, Kapok Sahli Pangdam IX/Udayana, Danrem 163/Wira Satya, Asrendam IX/Udayana, Assistants to Kasdam IX/Udayana, LO TNI AL, LO TNI AU, Dansat/Kabalakdam IX/Udayana, as well as Soldiers and Civil Servants of Kodam IX/Udayana at Garnizun Denpasar.
