DENPASAR, STIGMA.COM – Kasdam IX/Udayana Brigadier General TNI Sachono, S.H., M.Sc., M.Tr.(Han)., representing the Military Commander IX/Udayana Major General TNI Sonny Aprianto, S.E., M.M. received a Courtesy Call of The Rector of National Defense University, Lieutenant General Xiao Tianliang and his entourage, Tuesday (18/7) at the Supardi Hall of Makodam IX/Udayana in Udayana Street Number 1 Denpasar.
At the event, Pangdam IX/Udayana in his remarks delivered by Kasdam IX/Udayana welcomed the Rector of NDU with the entourage at the Regional Military Command IX/Udayana. Hopefully this activity will not only be for friendship, but also can be used as a vehicle for exchanging information on the basis of friendship and mutual respect.
It was further conveyed regarding the main tasks of Kodam IX/Udayana, that the implementation of the main tasks of Kodam IX/Udayana as an elaboration of the tasks of the Indonesian Army, namely carrying out the duties of the TNI in the field of defense in OMP and OMSP, as well as maintaining the security of Indonesia’s land border area with RDTL and the islands outermost, carrying out construction and development of Army Forces strength development and carrying out empowerment of land defense areas in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions.
“In practice, Kodam IX/Udayana has the function of being the Main Command for Operations (Kotama Ops) and the Main Command for Development (Kotama Bin). The two functions carried out are carried out in a synergistic and integrated manner in order to help create security stability for the Bali and Nusa Tenggara regions in particular,” explained the Military Commander.
Ending his remarks, Pangdam IX/Udayana said that the IX/Udayana Military Command area has become a tourist destination for both domestic and foreign tourists. Especially Bali, with the beauty and uniqueness of its cultural customs, makes Bali the prima donna of tourist visits.
Furthermore, the Rector of NDU said that it was an honor for him and the NDU students to be present in Bali and we thank you for all this welcome. “Our aim and goal is to learn about the TNI and how we lead,” he said.
It was conveyed that previously we visited the Minister of Defense as well as the National School of Defense University of Indonesia and the visit to Kodam IX/Udayana today was to exchange information and communication between our officers and Kodam IX/Udayana officers.
Furthermore, the Rector of NDU introduced that on this occasion he brought 50 students where they were Command Students with the rank of Colonel and Major General. They were from various corps of the Chinese army and they studied for one year at the Chinese Defense school.
Ending his remarks, the Rector of NDU hopes that in the future there will be officers from the Indonesian National Armed Forces who can study at the National Defense University in China. (Pendam IX/Udy)
